Our Approach
Community-rooted, culturally responsive, and evidence-based
Guided by evidence-informed practice, including the work of Dr. Greg Hanley, our approach reflects today’s ABA – a compassionate and trauma-informed model that prioritises trust, safety, autonomy, and meaningful skill-building.
“Today’s ABA starts with asking questions, listening, and learning about the person.” — Dr. Greg Hanley

Areas of Care

Early Childhood Support
Helping children build strong social and developmental foundations.
We work closely with families to support children in developing communication, emotional regulation, and everyday life skills from an early age. Using play-based and evidence-informed approaches, we create learning experiences that feel natural, engaging, and meaningful in your child’s everyday life.

Specialist Behaviour Support
Understanding the “why” behind behaviour and what each child is communicating.
We develop personalised, step-by-step support plans carefully tailored to your child’s needs. We then work alongside your child and their support network to bring these strategies into everyday life – through consistent, hands-on support that builds skills, confidence, and connection over time.
Our Core Values
Each family’s journey is unique, and we are honoured to be part of your child’s developmental path. At EmpowerBx, our work is grounded in four core values that guide how we support, connect, and collaborate with the children and families we work with.
Compassion
Prioritising safety, dignity, and trust
Connection
Building meaningful relationships
Cultural Sensitivity
Honouring your family’s values and experiences
Collaboration
Working with caregivers and support networks
